Press Release
The new ITB Americas in Mexico has been announced
Discover the full potential of the travel
industry of the Americas at ITB Americas in Mexico! Join the inaugural ITB
Americas, the Travel Trade Show for the Americas, and the latest addition to
the ITB brand family. The three-day B2B event will take place from 10 – 12 November 2026 and will be hosted annually in one of the most
vibrant cities in Mexico, Guadalajara.
From Canada to Argentina: ITB Americas is the only travel trade show that covers North, Central and South America and the Caribbean as well as all segments of the travel industry, from Adventure & Responsible Tourism to Business Travel and Travel Technology. The planned distribution of exhibitors is 80 per cent from the Americas and 20 per cent from the rest of the world, with participants ranging from startups to global market leaders.
"The launch of ITB Americas represents a continuation of our successful international strategy," says Dr. Mario Tobias, CEO of Messe Berlin. "Having previously focused on Asia, for us it is now 'ITB goes West'. Whether for hiking in the Rocky Mountains, cruises in the Caribbean, exploring the Atacama Desert in South America or the Mayan culture in Central America, the Americas are not only among the most diverse regions for travel, but also an important source market, with countries such as the USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil," says Tobias.
The Americas represent one of the largest and fastest-growing tourism markets in the world, making them an ideal location for a premier travel trade show like ITB Americas. The region offers immense economic potential, with South America projected to generate €35.63 billion in revenue by 2025 and grow annually by 4.67%. North America, led by the U.S., continues to dominate in tourism receipts, with $175.9 billion generated in 2023 alone.
ITB Americas builds on the success of
global ITB events, such as ITB Berlin, ITB Asia, ITB China, and ITB India,
while tailoring its approach to the market of the Americas. ITB Americas is
here to connect the global travel industry with and across the Americas.
